Strategex Returns to Manufacturers Alliance Board with Operating Model Session

Strategex has partnered with Manufacturers Alliance for five years, presenting to member councils on topics including 80/20 Profit and Growth, complexity reduction, lean optimization, change leadership, and navigating shifting economic landscapes. 80/20 Profit & Growth Managing Director, Jenn Desrosiers, will present “Operating Model Transformation: How to Create Lasting Value."

About the Session

The operating models that built today's industrial giants weren't designed for today's challenges. CEOs are wrestling with when and how to reconfigure their operating models—not incremental improvements, but true transformation. For many, the challenge is more foundational: introducing a formal operating model for the first time, which requires disciplined change leadership before the benefits can be realized.

Companies that successfully redesign their operating models build scalable platforms for sustained growth, speed, and execution. Those that don't (whether clinging to outdated models or operating without one at all) face mounting complexity, slower decisions, and increasing market penalties.

Jenn Desrosiers, who leads Strategex's 80/20 Practice, will present the why, what, and how of developing and implementing operating models that create durable value. Drawing from real-world transformations, she'll share the signals that it's time to act, the principles that separate value creation from value destruction, and the execution frameworks that determine success.

This is an invite-only session for the Manufacturers Alliance Board of Trustees. Interested in bringing this presentation to your organization? Contact us.

About the Speaker

Jenn Desrosiers is a recognized leader in applying the 80/20 principle to drive business success.

She spent the first decade of her career with Illinois Tool Works (ITW). During that tenure, she undertook progressive business leadership roles across several divisions— including functional responsibility for sales, marketing, product management, operations, and corporate strategy.

Jenn specializes in strategy creation and execution. During the consolidation of multiple ITW operating units, she led the business segmentation into focused markets and products. She guided her team through value proposition definition and developed growth strategies. She restructured the commercial organization and built a product management function to drive the growth strategies. Using 80/20, Jenn achieved significant cost reduction, bottom-line growth, and improved customer satisfaction.

Since joining Strategex, Jenn has consulted with more than 20 companies across various industries. She has helped her clients achieve profitable margin expansion and cash flow growth through revenue increases, overhead reductions, and reductions in working capital.

She also has a track record of successfully leading turnarounds for failing manufacturing businesses. In 2021, she coached a tier 1 automotive client to overcome significant operational challenges. The results included a 25% increase in EBITDA, improved on-time delivery, and increased wallet share with the world’s largest automotive manufacturers.

Jenn has a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech and completed her Executive MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband and two children.
